Hi, I’m Janice and I’m excited to be curating the newsletter this week. I joined the KettleSpace team in January 2020 and I'm driven by the goal to encourage positive conversations in our community. Since then, I have been working with the crew on some upcoming programming, marketing, and partnership projects. You can find me at Bohemian Spirit (shout out to my Bohemians!) and sometimes at Crave 🙌. Outside of KS, I enjoy running, visiting fun open houses, and finding a reason to celebrate all the special moments.
In celebration of International Women’s Day, I ask each of you to recognize all the strong women in your lives this month! You can invite Her for coffee at one of our unique locations, share a drink at an upcoming Welcome Wednesday, or to treat Her to a Female Founder Dinner. The KettleSpace Tribe consists of countless fearless females and very talented Members! There is a vibrant story within each of us and it is my hope to keep this conversation going.
Stay kind, healthy, and productive. Exciting news is ahead, so read on, Kettlers! With gratitude, Janice and The KettleSpace Team
It’s International Women’s Day (IWD), so we’d like to highlight some worthy causes both large and small. KettleSpace Member Alison Nakamura Netter has kickstarted an amazing initiative to expand access to menstrual products and reproductive health education in Kenya. Read more about her efforts and organization here.
If you haven’t already, check out the next installment in our Female Founder Dinner Series where Tania Sterl, fashion expert, stylist, and founder of Sterl on Style, will guide a conversation about using style to empower you and your brand. Spots are going fast!
It’s Here! It’s Here!
We are so excited to announce that v1 of the KettleSpace app has officially launched on the iOS App Store!
Find your top KettleSpace picks with fewer clicks: the mobile app will allow you to easily see every location and stay on top of every service change, plus it’s very easy to see which location will fit your daily needs (good-for-meetings, outside food, printer, etc). Check out this FAQ guide and become a pro at the Kettle app (move over, Candy Crush).
Stay tuned as we continue to develop our app with features you’ve been asking for. For now, the app is iOS-only---Android users, you’re next!
What A Whirl!
Here are some pictures from our last Welcome Wednesday Happy Hour at our newest Union Sq. location, The Stand. Thanks to all who attended and congrats to those who won free tickets to any comedy show of their choice. Stay tuned for the next one!
