KettleSpace is able to offer our amazing spaces through partnerships with existing local businesses. This means sometimes our hosts will need to use their space for another purpose (an event, dinner, cleaning, maintenance). Hybrid Workplace Solutions

What is a hybrid model?

A hybrid model is a mix of working remotely and working from the office, offering employees flexibility. Employees can combine these conveniently based on your company's policies.

How can we benefit from hybrid work?

Hybrid work gives employees flexibility and freedom of where and when they can work. This flexibility improves employees’ satisfaction and work-life balance, which results in boosting employees’ productivity. Research shows that organizations who don't offer a hybrid option risk losing talent.

How do we go hybrid?

Switching to hybrid can be complex; this is why Kettle offers solutions such as KettleSpace, third workplaces in New York City, and KettleOS, an end-to-end platform supporting the entire hybrid work ecosystem. Our Head of Hybrid is available to demo the platform at your convenience.

Is going hybrid a one size fits all solution?

Hybrid work depends on employees' needs. After realizing we can work from anywhere, not everyone wants to work from the office five days a week nor work remotely five days a week. Here are some terms that can help understand different hybrid work options:

  • Hoteling: A concept in which you reserve a desk in the office. You are offered a different desk depending on availability. Its named for its similarity to booking a hotel room.
  • Hot Desk: A coworking concept, similar to a hoteling desk, except it would be in a coworking space. This desk will be available to you for a specific amount of time.
  • Dedicated desk: A long-term desk. You can have it for a week or longer and make it a hot desk if you’re traveling.
  • Third workspaces: Near home spaces such as hotels and restaurants where you can get work done and collaborate with your colleagues without commuting to the office.

Is the hybrid work model expensive?

Our goal at Kettle is to take a fixed cost, such as your real estate and turn it into a variable that your employees can use for meetings, workspace, or on demand office spaces. If you need space, let's make sure there's ample space for you and your teams. The companies that are using KettleOS are successfully designing, building, and managing their hybrid workspaces. What they are finding is that there may not be as much need for fixed spaces as they thought. You might find that the data insights provided on your real estate usage pays for the platform for many years into the future.
