KettleSpace, in cooperation with Hacker Paradise, recently hosted a webinar entitled “The Future of Work.” The goal of the panel was to explore questions like these:

Are the new employment paradigms making us financially and psychologically more vulnerable, or are they empowering us to work in a more efficient and balanced way?

Are we all going to work more? Or Less? Or for more than one employer at the same time?

What will be the key differentiators in the labor market that will make some employers more attractive than others?

The recent pandemic has dramatically changed the way we live and work. It has both limited and empowered us . . . but how?

“One thing that is changing is that we are not even aware of is our brains. We have limbic systems – which control our `flight or fight’ drive. And though we don’t realize it now, all our limbic systems are in overdrive. Stress signs are coming up in ways we don’t even realize.” – Judy Goldberg, Founder, WonderShift LLC
“The biggest thing I need to work on right now is compassion. Everybody is going through a lot of stress and it is super-important to take that into account. I try to check in with clients more often and be aware of their mental state.” - Sebastien Arbogast, co-founder, ChainSkills
